We also maintain a professional office, hold monthly board meetings, research area and regional festivals and events and liaison with other cities all across the United States and the world, via the internet to bring a great variety of exciting things to see and do in our town.
Our Board
of Directors is made up of downtown merchants and business
owners. We meet the first Wednesday of each month at 8:30
a.m. in the Gilbert & Gilbert Conference Room in Pine
Square. The DBC publishes a monthly newsletter which
is distributed to the entire downtown Mount Vernon and contributes
to the monthly newsletter sent out by our Chamber
of Commerce.
We work very hard to support our members by being their diplomat
to the City and liaison to other businesses and agencies in
our community. Please join us in making downtown Mount
Vernon the destination place to do business, shop and visit.
